Job Description – Cancer Specialist / Oncologist

Position: Cancer Specialist / Medical Oncologist
Department: Oncology
Location: Major S.D. Singh Ayurvedic Medical College & Hospital

Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose, evaluate, and manage patients with various types and stages of cancer.
Develop and monitor individualized treatment plans in coordination with other specialists.
Conduct patient consultations, follow-ups, and review diagnostic reports.
Monitor treatment response and manage treatment-related complications.
Maintain accurate patient records and ensure proper documentation.
Coordinate with surgeons, radiologists, pathologists, and other medical specialists for comprehensive patient care.
Educate patients and their families regarding diagnosis, treatment options,



and supportive care.

Qualification: MBBS with MD/DNB in Medical Oncology or DM/DrNB in Medical Oncology (as applicable).
Experience: Relevant clinical experience in Oncology preferred.
Skills: Solid clinical judgment, patient counselling, communication, and multidisciplinary coordination.
