Key Responsibilities
Handle purchase requirements for mechanical components, raw materials, fabrication items, tools, consumables, and engineering materials.
Obtain quotations from multiple suppliers and prepare price comparison statements.
Negotiate with vendors regarding price, quality, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
Prepare and release Purchase Orders (POs) after necessary approvals.
Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials.
Coordinate with Design, Production, Stores, Quality, and Finance departments regarding purchase requirements.
Identify and develop recent vendors based on quality, cost, and delivery requirements.
Maintain supplier details, quotations, purchase orders, and procurement records.
Verify purchase specifications, drawings, BOMs, and material requirements before placing orders.
Coordinate with the Quality team regarding rejected or non-conforming materials.
Follow up for replacement or corrective action from suppliers when required.




Monitor pending purchase orders and provide regular status updates.
Support vendor evaluation and supplier performance monitoring.
Assist in cost-reduction and alternate-source development activities.
Coordinate with Stores for material receipt and Finance for invoice/payment-related clarifications.
Maintain proper documentation as per company and ISO requirements.

Required Skills
Basic knowledge of mechanical components, materials, manufacturing, machining, and fabrication processes.
Ability to understand engineering drawings and BOMs.
Basic knowledge of procurement and vendor management.
Valuable negotiation and communication skills.
Positive knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
