Job Description – Design Engineer (Mechanical & Plumbing)

Position: Design Engineer – Mechanical & Plumbing
Qualification: BE/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
Experience: 5–8 years
Salary:65,000.00 to 75,000.00 INR

Job Responsibilities:
Prepare and review mechanical and plumbing design drawings, layouts, and technical specifications.
Design and develop HVAC, plumbing, drainage, water supply, and related MEP systems.
Prepare detailed shop drawings, design calculations, BOQs, and material specifications.
Coordinate mechanical and plumbing designs with architectural, structural, and electrical disciplines.
Review project drawings and specifications to ensure compliance with project requirements and applicable standards.
Coordinate with site engineers, consultants, contractors,



and other project teams to resolve design-related issues.
Conduct site visits and provide technical support during project execution.
Review and approve technical submittals, material selections, and shop drawings where required.
Assist in identifying and resolving design clashes and technical issues.
Prepare as-built drawings and update designs based on site requirements.

Requirements:
BE/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
5–8 years of relevant experience in mechanical and plumbing design.
Robust knowledge of MEP systems, HVAC, plumbing, water supply, and drainage systems.
Proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit MEP/BIM will be an added advantage.
Good understanding of engineering drawings, design calculations, and technical documentation.
Solid coordination and communication skills.

Pay: ₹65,000.00 - ₹75,000.00 per month
