Key Responsibilities
Safely operate company vehicles (vans, cars) for transporting goods, materials, or personnel.
Ensure timely delivery and pickup of consignments as per schedule.
Conduct routine vehicle inspections (fuel, brakes, tires, lights) before and after trips.
Maintain accurate trip logs, mileage records, and delivery documentation.
Follow traffic rules, company policies, and safety regulations at all times.
Report mechanical issues or accidents immediately to management.
Keep vehicles clean, well-maintained, and ready for use.
Skills & Qualifications
Education: Minimum 8th–10th pass (varies by employer).
License: Valid driving license for LMV/HMV (depending on vehicle type).
Experience: 1–3 years preferred; freshers may be considered.
Knowledge: Familiarity with local routes, traffic rules, and basic vehicle maintenance.
Physical fitness: Ability to handle long hours of driving and occasional manual handling.
Soft skills: Punctuality, discipline, and responsibility in handling company property.
