Job Summary
We are looking for a passionate and knowledgeable Medical Coding Trainer to join our team in Kolhapur. The candidate will be responsible for training students in medical coding and preparing them for certification and industry opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct training sessions on Medical Coding concepts and guidelines.
Teach ICD-10-CM, CPT and HCPCS coding.
Explain Medical Terminology, Anatomy & Physiology.
Provide practical training through medical records, case studies and coding exercises.
Conduct assessments, mock tests and interview preparation sessions.
Monitor student performance and provide regular feedback.
Prepare training materials, assignments and practice questions.
Help students develop industry-ready medical coding skills.
Stay updated with relevant medical coding guidelines and industry practices.
Required Skills
Robust knowledge of ICD-10-CM, CPT and HCPCS.
Positive understanding of Medical Terminology and Anatomy & Physiology.
Good communication and presentation skills.
Ability to explain concepts clearly and effectively.
Passion for teaching and student development.
Knowledge of US Healthcare / Medical Coding will be preferred.
Eligibility
Graduate in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Nursing, Allied Health Sciences or a related field.
Medical Coding Certification is compulsory.
CPC / CCS / CCA / COC or equivalent certification will be considered.
Freshers with relevant certification can apply.
Experienced candidates with Medical Coding or Training experience are also welcome.
Salary
Salary will be decided based on the candidate's performance in the interview, skills and relevant knowledge.
