Assistant Film Director

We are looking for a creative, organized, and passionate Assistant Film Director to support the conceptualization and execution of video content for digital marketing campaigns. The ideal candidate should have a robust understanding of storytelling and production, hands-on experience on set, and the ability to work closely with directors and creative teams.

Key Responsibilities
Assist the Director in conceptualizing and executing video content for advertisements, brand films, social media, and digital campaigns
Support the development of scripts, storyboards, shot lists, and production plans
Coordinate with cinematographers, actors, production crew, and other departments during shoots
Assist with casting, location scouting, scheduling, and other pre-production activities
Help manage shoot schedules and ensure scenes are executed according to the creative vision
Maintain continuity, shot requirements, and on-set coordination
Assist the Director in communicating creative requirements to the production team
Support post-production teams during editing, color grading, sound design, and final output
Ensure content follows brand guidelines and campaign objectives
Help manage production timelines, resources, and day-to-day requirements
Stay updated with current filmmaking techniques,



social media formats, and digital video trends

Requirements
1+ year of experience as an Assistant Director, Junior Director, or in a similar video production role
Basic understanding of filmmaking, cinematography, lighting, editing, and production workflows
Experience working on commercials, advertisements, social media content, short films, or digital campaigns
Strong storytelling and visual communication skills
Ability to coordinate and work effectively with creative and production teams
Good communication, organizational, and time-management skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven production workplace
Robust attention to detail and continuity

Preferred Skills
Experience in digital marketing or advertising campaigns
Familiarity with Instagram Reels, YouTube, and other short-form video formats
Basic knowledge of editing software and post-production workflows
Creative problem-solving and adaptability on set
Passion for filmmaking, visual storytelling, and emerging content trends

Minimum 1 year of relevant experience

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
