Key Responsibilities
Manage and maintain computers, laptops, printers, scanners, projectors, and other IT equipment.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting to faculty, staff, and students.
Install, configure, update, and maintain operating systems and software applications.
Monitor and maintain LAN, Wi-Fi, internet connectivity, switches, routers, and other network infrastructure.
Create and manage user accounts, email accounts, permissions, and access controls.
Provide technical support for the university's ERP, LMS, examination systems, attendance systems, and other digital platforms.
Maintain servers, backups, storage systems, and basic data-recovery procedures.
Monitor IT systems for security threats, malware, unauthorized access, and vulnerabilities.
Maintain an updated inventory of hardware, software, licenses, and IT assets.
Coordinate with IT vendors, internet service providers, software providers, and hardware suppliers.
Support online examinations, admissions, registration, result processing, presentations, seminars, and university events.
Assist in setting up and maintaining smart classrooms, computer labs, video-conferencing facilities,



and digital learning systems.
Maintain IT-related documentation, service records, incident reports, and maintenance reports.
Ensure timely resolution of IT complaints and maintain appropriate help-desk/service-ticket records.
Assist management in IT procurement, quotations, technical evaluation, and installation of recent equipment.
Follow university policies relating to IT security, data privacy, backups, and acceptable use.
Participate in IT projects and upgrades as assigned by the IT Manager/Head of IT/Registrar or other authorized authority.

Required Skills
Hardware and software troubleshooting
Networking fundamentals: LAN, WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Wi-Fi
Windows and/or Linux administration
Microsoft Office/Google Workspace
Basic server and database knowledge
IT asset and inventory management
Cybersecurity and backup fundamentals
Valuable communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to support users with different levels of technical knowledge

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
