Job Summary:
Operate press brake and other sheet metal bending machines to produce components according to engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards. The operator is responsible for machine setup, tooling selection, dimensional inspection, and protected production.

Key Responsibilities:
Set up and operate press brake machines for sheet metal bending.
Read and understand engineering drawings, bend allowances, and work instructions.
Select and install appropriate punches, dies, and tooling.
Set machine parameters such as bend angle, back gauge, pressure, and bend sequence.
Perform first-piece inspection and make necessary machine adjustments.
Check dimensions, angles, and overall quality using measuring instruments.
Maintain required production quantity and quality standards.
Identify and report material, tooling, or machine problems.
Maintain 5S and cleanliness around the work area.
Follow all safety procedures and use required PPE.
Record production, rejection, and inspection data as required.




Perform basic machine maintenance and coordinate with maintenance personnel for breakdowns.

Required Skills:
Experience operating press brake/bending machines.
Ability to read engineering drawings.
Knowledge of sheet metal materials, thicknesses, and bending processes.
Familiarity with vernier caliper, measuring tape, angle gauge, and other inspection tools.
Basic knowledge of CNC/NC controls.
Ability to identify bending defects such as incorrect angle, dimensional variation, cracks, and deformation.
Good understanding of workplace safety.

Qualification & Experience:
ITI/Diploma in Fitter, Sheet Metal, Mechanical, or related trade preferred.
Typically 1–5 years of relevant experience, depending on machine complexity.

Pay: ₹20,155.36 - ₹25,948.46 per month
