Job Description – Senior COBOL Developer (Insurance Domain)

Required Technical Skill Set

Micro Focus COBOL Desired

Location- Navi Mumbai

Must-Have Skills:
Experience in Micro Focus COBOL Experience in Insurance domain applications
Robust understanding of batch and online COBOL programs Positive debugging, analysis, and SDLC experience Strong communication and documentation skills
Good-to-Have Skills: Experience with DB2 / Oracle / SQL Unix/Linux exposure
Experience in regulatory or compliance-driven changes Legacy modernization or migration experience

Responsibilities
Reverse engineer and understand Micro Focus COBOL applications using contemporary AI tools
Draw business rules from Core Insurance Application of a Life Insurance Company
Perform impact analysis and implement business changes 4. Handle production support and root cause analysis 5. Ensure code quality, performance, and compliance

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹150,000.00 per month
