Job Summary

The Music Teacher is responsible for planning and delivering engaging music lessons that develop students’ musical skills, creativity, and appreciation of music. The teacher fosters a positive learning workplace and encourages participation in school music activities, performances, and competitions.

Key Responsibilities

Instruction & Curriculum Delivery
Plan and deliver music lessons aligned with the school curriculum.
Teach music theory, vocal training, and instrumental skills.
Introduce students to different genres, cultures, and historical periods of music.
Prepare lesson plans, learning materials, and assessments.

Performance & Activities
Organize and direct school choirs, bands, and ensembles.
Prepare students for concerts, assemblies, and competitions.
Coordinate annual music programs and school events.

Classroom Management
Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning setting.
Manage classroom behavior effectively.
Ensure proper care and maintenance of musical instruments and equipment.

Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor’s or any higher degree in Music, Music Education, or related field.




Teaching certification (as required by local education authority).
Proficiency in more than one musical instrument (e.g., piano, guitar, violin) and vocal training.
Solid knowledge of music theory and history.
Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
Ability to inspire and motivate students of different age groups.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
