Key Responsibilities
Operate CNC machines safely and efficiently as per production requirements.
Load and unload materials onto the CNC machine.
Set up tools, fixtures and materials before starting production.
Read and understand basic technical drawings, measurements and job specifications.
Run CNC programs and monitor machine operations.
Check dimensions and quality of finished components.
Identify machining defects and make necessary corrections.
Perform basic machine cleaning and routine maintenance.
Ensure correct tools, materials and programs are used for each job.
Maintain production quality and minimize material wastage.
Follow production schedules and complete assigned jobs within the required time.
Follow all safety procedures and use required PPE.
Report machine breakdowns, tool damage or production issues to the supervisor.
Maintain proper housekeeping around the machine and work area.
Coordinate with production, design and fabrication teams when required.
Perform other production-related duties assigned by the supervisor.
Required Skills
Knowledge of CNC machine operation.
Basic understanding of CNC programs and machine settings.
Ability to read measurements and technical drawings.
Knowledge of cutting tools and machine operations.
Good attention to detail and quality.
Ability to identify basic machine or production problems.
Ability to follow safety procedures.
Ability to work in a production workplace.
Qualification & Experience
ITI / Diploma in CNC, Mechanical, Production or related field preferred.
Experience operating CNC machines is preferred.
Freshers with relevant technical training may also be considered.
Experience in modular furniture, woodworking CNC, manufacturing or fabrication will be an advantage.
