CTP Operator

Prepares digital artwork files and operates specialized equipment to transfer images directly onto printing plates for commercial offset printing

Job Duties

File Preparation : Review incoming customer files and digital artwork for errors, correct fonts, bleed, crop marks, and proper resolution using prepress software

Imposition & Layout : Use specialized workflow software (like RIP or Preps) to arrange and layout multiple page designs onto a single press sheet efficiently

Technical Proficiency : Solid working knowledge of prepress workflows, color separation, dot gain, and file formats (PDF, TIFF)

Software Skills : Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop) and industry-specific workflow tools (e.g., Kodak Prinergy, Apogee, Equious or general RIP software)

Attention to Detail: High visual and technical accuracy to catch layout flaws before expensive press runs begin

Experience : Experience in a Print Production workplace

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
