Key Responsibilities

a) Student Welfare

b) Act as guardian and mentor to hostel residents.

c) Provide counselling and support for academic, personal, and health concerns.

d) Ensure medical assistance and maintain health records.

e) Document student health histories, emergency contacts, and incident reports for medical situations

f) Document all external guests, parents, and delivery personnel with strict entry/exit timestamps.
Discipline & Conduct

a) Enforce hostel rules and regulations consistently.

b) Address misconduct, ragging, or disputes promptly.

c) Maintain a culture of respect, inclusivity, and cooperation.

d) Maintain written files on rule violations, roommate disputes, and official actions taken.

e) Maintain digital and physical registers for daily attendance, night outs, and home leave permissions.
Safety & Security

a) Supervise entry/exit of residents through Space Basic and visitors.

b) Ensure fire safety, emergency preparedness, and conduct regular drills.

c) Monitor CCTV, security staff, and maintain incident reports.
Administration & Operations





a) Allocate rooms and maintain updated resident records (Nominal Record).

b) Oversee hostel maintenance, sanitation, and infrastructure.

c) Supervise mess operations, ensuring food quality and hygiene.

d) Track electrical, plumbing, and Wi-Fi complaints from submission to final resolution.

e) Log hostel property, linen, furniture, and kitchen supplies to prevent loss or damage.
Community Development

a) Organize cultural, sports, and recreational activities.

b) Encourage student participation and leadership.

c) Promote harmony among residents.
Financial & Resource Management

a) Prepare hostel budgets and monitor expenditures.

b) Maintain inventory of hostel supplies and equipment.

c) Ensure cost-effective resource utilization.

d) Record caution deposits, daily mess expenses, and minor routine maintenance bills.

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
