Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Instrument Technician responsible for maintenance, calibration, troubleshooting, installation and preventive maintenance of industrial instrumentation and control systems.

Key Responsibilities
Maintenance, calibration and troubleshooting of Flow Meters, Valves, Level Transmitters, Load Cells and Field Instruments.
Troubleshooting and breakdown maintenance of instrumentation systems.
Perform Preventive, Predictive and Corrective Maintenance with proper documentation.
Calibration of instruments as per defined schedules and maintain records.
Field instrument parameterization and configuration.
Installation, cabling, ferruling, lugging and termination of instruments.
Work on DCS Panels, Networking and Communication Systems.
Knowledge of Profibus, Profinet and Ethernet connections and termination.
Prepare daily/shift maintenance reports.
Maintain proper 5S in laboratory and shop-floor areas.
Earth pit inspection and maintenance.
Assist vendors during AMC and maintenance activities.




Identify and arrest air leakages in instruments, pig lines and packing machines.

Required Skills
Solid troubleshooting and maintenance skills in industrial instrumentation.
Knowledge of calibration procedures and field instruments.
Basic knowledge of DCS and industrial communication protocols.
Hands-on experience with cabling, termination and instrument installation.
Good understanding of preventive and breakdown maintenance.
Ability to maintain technical records and shift reports.

ITI – Instrumentation / Instrumentation-related trade
