Key Responsibilities
Manage and optimize the complete SMT production process.
Review customer data including BOM, Gerber, Assembly Drawing, DNP list and XY data before production.
Prepare and verify SMT machine programs and component libraries.
Optimize feeder setup, component placement and machine utilization.
Develop and optimize stencil specifications based on component/package requirements.
Set up and optimize solder paste printing parameters.
Perform SPI analysis and optimize printing parameters based on results.
Develop and optimize reflow oven profiles for different PCB assemblies.
Monitor and improve placement accuracy and process capability.
Troubleshoot SMT defects such as:
Tombstoning
Bridging
Solder shorts
Insufficient solder
Component shifting
Skew
Opens
Solder balls
BGA soldering issues
Support NPI and recent product introduction activities.
Conduct DOE,



process trials and process validation where required.
Define and maintain SMT process parameters and work instructions.
Coordinate with Quality and Production teams to resolve process-related issues.
Analyze machine and process downtime and implement corrective actions.
Improve FPY, productivity, OEE and process capability.
Support stencil, feeder, nozzle and tooling selection.
Monitor MSL, ESD and component handling requirements.
Conduct process audits and ensure adherence to approved process parameters.
Prepare RCA, 8D and corrective-action reports for process-related issues.
Train operators and technicians on SMT process requirements.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹85,000.00 per month
