Key Responsibilities
Prepare and maintain product and process costing for food products.
Calculate and monitor raw material, packaging, labor, manufacturing, and overhead costs.
Analyze actual costs against standard/budgeted costs and identify variances.
Prepare cost sheets, profitability reports, and management MIS.
Monitor inventory valuation, stock consumption, wastage, and production losses.
Track raw material and packaging material costs and their impact on product margins.
Conduct variance analysis related to material usage, purchase prices, production costs, and overheads.
Assist in preparing annual budgets, forecasts, and cost-control plans.
Work with the procurement team to analyze purchase prices and vendor-related cost changes.




Coordinate with production teams to monitor production efficiency and wastage.
Support month-end and year-end closing activities related to costing and inventory.
Ensure accurate accounting and reconciliation of inventory and manufacturing costs.
Assist with internal and statutory audits by providing required cost-related reports and documentation.
Identify areas for cost reduction and process improvement.
Maintain accurate costing records and ensure compliance with applicable accounting and costing practices.
