Job Summary

Role Summary. Seeking a Senior Kubernetes Platform Engineer with robust experience designing, operating, and automating Kubernetes platforms on Microsoft Azure (AKS) and Google Cloud (GKE). The ideal candidate should have expertise in GitOps, CNCF controllers, infrastructure as code, CI/CD, observability, and cloud-native platform engineering.

Responsibilities
Manage and troubleshoot production Kubernetes clusters on AKS and GKE
Robust implementation experience of GitOps practices using ArgoCD or FluxCD
Deep dive and implement relevant CNCF controllers like Cilium, Istio, Kyverno, External Secrets, etc
Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform
Build, maintain, and version Helm charts
Develop platform automation using Python and Bash
Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions
Implement backup and disaster recovery solutions using Velero or Kasten
Deploy and manage observability platforms using Prometheus, Grafana, and Vector
Create technical documentation, operational runbooks, and platform standards
