Printer Field Support Engineer L2

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
Provide L2 field support for printers, MFPs and multifunction printing devices at customer locations.
Diagnose and resolve hardware and software-related printer issues.
Troubleshoot printer components such as fuser, drum, toner, rollers, print heads, paper-feed units, trays and control boards.
Perform installation, configuration, preventive maintenance and breakdown maintenance of printers.
Troubleshoot print quality, paper jam, connectivity, scanning and printing issues.
Configure printers over TCP/IP, network ports and print servers.
Troubleshoot network printer connectivity and driver-related issues.
Support HP, Canon, Ricoh, Xerox, Kyocera, Brother and other enterprise printers/MFPs.
Perform component replacement and coordinate with OEM/vendor teams for complex issues.
Handle customer escalations and ensure resolution within defined SLA.
Maintain service reports, incident records and spare-part usage details.
Provide remote support to L1/field engineers for complex printer issues.
Travel to customer locations for onsite troubleshooting and maintenance.
