Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities 1. Student Welfare & Wellbeing Leadership Provide strategic oversight of institutional mechanisms supporting student wellbeing, counselling services, and welfare programmes, ensuring accessible and responsive support systems

. 2. Grievance Redressal & Student Trust Strengthen the universitys student grievance management framework, ensuring complaints are addressed with transparency, timeliness, and procedural fairness.
Discipline Governance Administer the universitys student conduct and discipline framework, ensuring compliance with institutional policies and maintaining a fair and respectful campus workplace.

Preferred candidate profile





Experience • Minimum 18 years of experience in higher education administration, student affairs, or student services. •

At least 5 years in a senior leadership role such as: o Dean Students’ Welfare o Director Student Affairs o Associate Dean Students’ Welfare o Equivalent administrative leadership role in a recognized university. Demonstrated experience in student welfare governance, grievance systems, counselling services, discipline administration, and student engagement programmes is essential.

Age Criteria Preferred Age: 45–50 years at the time of appointment.
