What youll do
Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance of plastic injection moulds.

Diagnose mould-related issues such as flash, short shot, sink marks, burn marks, mismatch, and part sticking.

Perform dismantling, inspection, cleaning, polishing, repair, and assembly of mould components.

Repair and replace damaged mould parts including cores, cavities, sliders, inserts, ejector pins,



guide pillars, bushes, and lifters.

Ensure moulds are maintained as per maintenance schedules and standards.

Coordinate with production and quality teams for mould-related improvements.

Maintain mould history cards and maintenance records.

Analyze recurring mould failures and implement corrective actions.

Participate in mould modifications and engineering change implementation.

Suggest improvements to enhance mould life, productivity, and product quality.

Support continuous improvement and cost reduction initiatives.
