Role & responsibilities
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Outpatient Department (OPD), ensuring smooth patient flow and productive service delivery.
Manage patient registration, appointment scheduling, billing coordination, and consultant schedules to optimize operational efficiency.
Supervise the OPD, front office, and patient services teams, ensuring adherence to hospital policies and high standards of customer service.
Coordinate with consultants, nursing, diagnostics, pharmacy, and other departments to ensure seamless patient care and interdepartmental collaboration.
Monitor patient waiting times, resolve service-related issues and complaints, and implement initiatives to enhance patient satisfaction and experience.
Ensure compliance with hospital policies, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), NABH standards, infection control protocols, and statutory regulations.
Prepare and analyze OPD performance reports, patient footfall statistics,



revenue data, and other operational MIS to support decision-making.
Conduct regular audits, identify process improvement prospects, and implement best practices to enhance operational efficiency and service quality.
Plan manpower deployment, manage staff schedules, monitor performance, and organize training programs to improve team productivity and service excellence.
Maintain accurate documentation, ensure confidentiality of patient information, and support hospital management in achieving departmental goals and quality objectives.
