Key Responsibilities
Plan and execute daily production activities as per the production schedule.
Supervise production operators and workers during the assigned shift.
Ensure optimum utilization of manpower, machines, materials, and resources.
Monitor production output and achieve shift-wise production targets.
Ensure products are manufactured according to approved specifications and quality standards.
Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Stores, and Planning departments for smooth production.
Monitor machine performance and immediately report breakdowns or abnormalities to the Maintenance team.
Maintain proper production records, shift reports, rejection reports, and material consumption records.
Identify production losses, wastage, rework, and process-related issues and take corrective action.
Ensure proper handling and storage of raw materials, work-in-process, and finished goods.
Follow all company SOPs, work instructions, safety procedures, and 5S practices.




Ensure proper housekeeping and cleanliness of the production area.
Train and guide operators regarding production processes, safety, quality, and work practices.
Conduct proper shift handover and communicate pending activities/issues to the next shift.
Report production deviations, quality issues, manpower shortages, and other critical matters to the Production Manager.
Support continuous improvement initiatives for productivity, quality, cost reduction, and process efficiency. Role & responsibilities
