This RF design engineer will join the RF design team and will develop RF hardware for new product generation. With proven experience of complete RF design process, this person will interface regularly with other engineering groups.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities
Design analog and RF circuits
Design review based on simulations and practical tests/measurements
Simulate RF designs with Microwave Office
Selection and evaluation of components for the current design
Draw schematics, BOM s, PCB layouts, assembly drawings and test procedures for new designs
Prototyping of the recent design, test, debug and design proving, fault diagnosis
Participate in Critical Design Review process
Work closely with mechanical engineers and associate engineers
Participation in transfer to production

Position Requirements
Must have a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in RF or Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 1+ years experience in the RF electronics
Expert in analog and RF circuit design
Experience with Microwave Office desired




Additional knowledge in frequency dependent properties of magnetic components as well as their power handling
Experience in PCB layout
Basic knowledge in EMC RF immunity is an advantage
Proven experience of complete Hardware Design Process
Experience of designing for good EMC performance
Working knowledge of design for manufacture, relevant knowledge of designing cost optimized products
Understands the value of, and is able to produce, high quality documentation
Able to quickly learn and self teach current skills and technology
Maintains a constructive positive attitude in challenging situations
Operates effectively under pressure and delivers to agreed timescales
Valuable team player, interested in and able to communicate with other engineering disciplines
Good MS-Office skills
Excellent English language skills (communication and writing)
