Key Responsibilities

Vendor & Factory Management
Build and manage a strong vendor network across India & China and other key manufacturing hubs

Identify and onboard factories aligned with premium activewear standards
Lead commercial negotiations including pricing, MOQs, and payment terms
Evaluate factory capabilities in performance apparel construction

Performance Fabric & Trim Sourcing
Source and develop technical fabrics (stretch, recovery, moisture management, compression, bonded seams, etc.)
Work closely with Design on fabric innovation and suitability
Ensure consistency in trims, elastics, prints, heat transfers, and finishing quality
Drive cost optimisation without compromising product performance

Costing & Margin Alignment
Own style-level costing and margin feasibility




Align cost structures with merchandising OTB plans

Optimize MOQs and production efficiency across vendors

Provide cost visibility for pricing and buying decisions Production

Feasibility & Timeline Management
Align production timelines with drop calendars
Ensure accurate sampling, approvals, and bulk readiness
Proactively flag risks related to quality, delays, or capacity
Support replenishment feasibility planning Quality & Compliance
Define and enforce premium activewear quality standards

Implement QC checkpoints across sampling and bulk production
Ensure vendor compliance with brand and regulatory standards

Qualifications

25 years of experience in activewear or performance/activewear apparel sourcing

Robust China sourcing experience with an established vendor network Deep understanding of technical fabrics and garment construction

Proven experience in cost negotiation, MOQs, and timeline management

Strong commercial mindset and ownership attitude
