Source hose fittings including ferrules, stems, and end fittings.
Source hydraulic and pneumatic fittings including BSP, NPT, JIC, SAE, and metric fittings.
Source push-to-connect and quick-connect fittings.
Source adapters, unions, reducers, elbows, and tees.
Source bite-type and compression fittings.
Source custom and special-purpose fittings as per engineering drawings and specifications.
Identify and develop current fitting suppliers.
Evaluate suppliers based on machining, forging, and casting capabilities.
Evaluate supplier capability for brass, stainless steel, carbon steel, and aluminium components.
Assess supplier capability to meet dimensional tolerances and pressure-rating requirements.
Assess supplier quality systems and relevant certifications.
Prepare and issue RFQs with complete technical requirements.
Ensure RFQs include drawings, material specifications, pressure ratings, tolerances, and surface-finish requirements.
Conduct technical evaluation of supplier quotations.
Conduct commercial comparison and bid evaluation.




Recommend suitable suppliers based on quality, cost, capability, lead time, and supply reliability.
Negotiate component pricing and commercial terms.
Negotiate tooling and development costs.
Negotiate lead times, MOQ, and payment terms.
Coordinate supplier development activities for recent fittings.
Support sample development, prototype sourcing, and NPD trials.
Ensure timely availability of fittings as per NPD project schedules.
Develop dual and alternate sources for critical fitting families.
Reduce sourcing risk and improve supply continuity.
Drive cost optimization and value-engineering prospects.
Monitor supplier performance on quality, cost, delivery, and responsiveness.
Maintain approved supplier and sourcing status for NPD fitting requirements.
