Job Description: Associate Consultant Urology

Qualification
DNB / DrNB in Urology from a recognized institution.
Valid registration with the appropriate medical council.
Fellowship or additional training in a specialized area of Urology will be an advantage.

Experience
Relevant experience in Urology after completion of DNB/DrNB.
Experience in a reputed hospital/healthcare setup preferred.

Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive clinical evaluation, diagnosis, and management of patients with urological conditions.
Conduct outpatient consultations, inpatient rounds, and follow-ups.
Assist and independently perform urological procedures and surgeries as per clinical expertise.
Manage pre-operative and post-operative patient care.
Coordinate with consultants, nursing staff, OT, ICU, and other clinical departments for integrated patient care.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, case sheets,



and medical records.
Participate in emergency and on-call services as per hospital requirements.
Counsel patients and attendants regarding diagnosis, treatment plans, procedures, and follow-up care.
Ensure compliance with hospital clinical protocols, patient safety standards, and infection-control practices.
Participate in departmental meetings, clinical discussions, audits, and quality initiatives.
Support academic activities, case presentations, and training of junior medical staff when required.
