Role & responsibilities
Ensure quality standards are maintained throughout gear manufacturing processes.
Conduct in-process and final inspection of gears and related components.
Hands-on experience in quality inspection of Hobbing, Shaving, Shaping, and Broaching operations.
Inspect gear parameters such as profile, lead, pitch, runout, tooth thickness, concentricity, and dimensions.
Analyze process defects, rejections, and customer complaints and implement corrective actions.
Perform Root Cause Analysis, 5 Why, Fishbone, and 8D for quality issues.
Prepare and maintain Control Plan, PFMEA, Inspection Standards, and Quality Reports.

Required Skills
Solid knowledge of gear manufacturing processes and quality requirements.
Hands-on experience in Hobbing, Shaving, Shaping, and Broaching.
Knowledge of gear inspection equipment such as Gear Tester, Profile/Lead Tester, CMM, Vernier, Micrometer, Bore Gauge, and Height Gauge.
Positive knowledge of gear drawings, GD&T;, and inspection techniques.
Knowledge of 7 QC Tools, MSA, SPC, PPAP, PFMEA, and 8D.
Valuable analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Experience: 27 Years
Qualification: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech. – Mechanical / Production
