Job Description:

n

1.Monitor and analyze Cloudflare WAF alerts, logs, and dashboards for advanced threat detection

n
Perform initial triage to classify alerts into true positives and false positives

n

3.Perform deep-dive analysis of web application attacks (SQL Injection, XSS, RCE, bot attacks, API abuse)

n

4.Analyze WAF logs (IP, headers, URLs, payloads) to identify potential threats

n

5.Validate rule triggers and policy violations against known attack patterns

n

6.Firewall HA configuration and troubleshooting.

n





7.Escalate confirmed or high-risk incidents to L2/L3 teams with supporting evidence

n

8.Support WAF rule tuning by identifying false positives/negatives. Execute predefined playbooks for common web attacks (SQLi, XSS, bot activity)

n

9.Ensure WAF platform health, uptime, and alerting mechanisms are functioning

n

10.Support onboarding of current applications into WAF and ensure proper protection policies are applied

n

11.Maintain incident documentation, ticket updates, and reporting records

n

12.Coordinate with AppSec, SOC, and network teams for incident resolution and tuning

n

13.Exposure to DDoS protection mechanisms and rate-limiting strategies
