Import Executive

Job Responsibilities
Handle end-to-end import operations from PO to final delivery.
Coordinate with overseas suppliers, CHA, customs, freight forwarders, shipping lines and transporters.
Manage and verify import documents – Invoice, Packing List, BL, COO, COA, MSDS, etc.
Handle customs clearance, shipment tracking and port-to-plant transportation.
Ensure compliance with Customs, DGFT, FEMA and GST requirements.
Monitor container movement and control demurrage/detention costs.
Coordinate with Finance for LC, advance payments and import-related bank documentation.
Maintain import trackers, MIS and ERP/SAP records.




Coordinate with Procurement, Stores and Production for timely availability of imported raw materials.

Requirements
Graduate in Commerce / Logistics / Supply Chain or related field.
2+ years of hands-on Import Operations experience.
Solid knowledge of Import Documentation & Customs Clearance.
Experience with CHA, freight forwarders and shipping lines.
Knowledge of Incoterms, DGFT, FEMA and GST.
SAP/ERP and Excel knowledge preferred.
Chemical / Specialty Chemical / Manufacturing industry experience preferred.
