Job Description – Packing

Job Title: Packing Operator / Packing Associate
Department: Packing
Location: Manufacturing Unit

Job Summary

Responsible for packing finished garments accurately and efficiently according to company standards, customer requirements, and packing instructions.

Key Responsibilities
Pack finished garments as per the approved packing method and instructions.
Check quantity, size, colour, style, and packing details before packing.
Fold and arrange garments properly to maintain presentation and quality.
Place garments in polybags, cartons, or other required packaging materials.
Ensure correct tagging, labelling, and carton identification.
Check packed products for visible defects or damage and report them to the concerned supervisor.
Maintain cleanliness and proper organization of the packing area.
Follow safety, quality, and company procedures.
Complete packing targets within the required time.




Coordinate with the Quality and Production teams when required.
Maintain proper handling and storage of packed goods.

Required Skills
Basic understanding of garment packing procedures.
Ability to identify sizes, colours, and product details.
Valuable attention to detail.
Ability to work as part of a team.
Willingness to achieve daily production targets.
Valuable discipline and time management.

Qualification
Education: No specific qualification required / 8th or 10th standard preferred.
Experience: Freshers can apply; relevant packing experience will be an advantage.

Working Conditions
Work in a garment manufacturing workplace.
Follow prescribed working hours and company policies.
May require standing for extended periods.
