The Opportunity: Architect the Future of Developer Experience. We are seeking a hands-on, high-impact Software Factory Architect to champion the greenfield creation and deployment of our Global Software Factory & Developer Platform in Bengaluru. This is a unique, high-influence role.
You are an exceptional engineer and architect at heart.
Your mission is to define, develop, and deploy the up-to-date tool stack and agile engineering methodologies for the entire Vehicle Motion (VM) business unit globally.



You will act as the ultimate architect-developer and technical coach.
You will build core tooling, automate complex release pipelines, and actively coach and mentor other developers on how to adopt these new, cutting-edge, and AI-accelerated ways of working.

Your Mission & Responsibilities:
As the Software Factory Architect, you will own the defining, building, and deploying of the following core technical stack: Define the Development Setting: Standardize and roll out modern IDE experiences using Visual Studio Code, accelerating development by embedding GitHub Copilot and leveraging containerized developer environments via DevContainers.
Orchestrate CI/CT Pipelines: Design and build continuous integration and continuous testing automation utilizing GitHub Actions and self-hosted runners.
