Job Opportunity: Derivatives Sales Trader (Institutional Equities)

Key Responsibilities
High-Touch Execution: Manage large-scale "care" orders for Tier-1 FIIs and DIIs. Determine optimal execution strategies—balancing high-touch manual handling with advanced algorithmic suites to protect client anonymity and minimize market impact.

Relationship Management: Act as the primary execution point of contact to deepen the firm's footprint with Head Traders and Dealers across Mutual Funds, Insurance companies, and Global Hedge Funds.

Liquidity Internalization: Identify "naturals" within the client ecosystem to facilitate block trades and crosses, reinforcing the firm's position as a preferred liquidity provider.





Compliance & Risk Management: Maintain the highest standards of integrity, ensuring 100% adherence to SEBI regulations, internal risk limits, and Best Execution protocols.

Requirements & Qualifications
Experience: 3–7+ years in Institutional Derivative Sales Trading and dealing. Mandatory experience handling arbitrage trades for DII, MF, FPI, or Prop desks.

Technical & Market Expertise: Robust understanding of arbitrage, dividends, and roll concepts, with the ability to generate trade ideation for spreads and rollovers. Proficiency in reading quant, derivative, and technical chart reports.

Client Network: Established relationships with key institutional clients.

Execution Alpha: Track record of consistently beating execution benchmarks (VWAP/IS) and delivering post-trade Transaction Cost Analysis (TCA).

Tools & Systems: Advanced Excel skills (ability to automate order updates/confirmations). Knowledge of AI tools is a solid plus.

Education
Post-graduate degree in Finance, Mathematics, or Engineering preferred.
