Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced MEP Quantity Surveyor – Mechanical with strong expertise in quantity take-off, BOQ preparation, cost estimation, tendering, and commercial management of MEP projects.

The ideal candidate should have good knowledge of HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, utility piping, and other mechanical services, preferably across industrial, infrastructure, commercial, manufacturing, or large-scale MEP projects.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare detailed quantity take-offs and BOQs for mechanical MEP works.
Review drawings, specifications, and tender documents to identify project quantities and scope.
Prepare cost estimates, rate analysis, and material/labour calculations.
Coordinate with design, procurement, project execution, and planning teams.
Review shop drawings, design changes, and variations for commercial impact.
Prepare and evaluate variation claims, extra-item claims, and change orders.
Monitor project quantities against BOQ and identify quantity/cost deviations.
Maintain proper documentation of quantities, rates, BOQs, and commercial records.
Conduct quantity reconciliation for major materials and MEP installations.

Required Skills
Robust knowledge of Quantity Surveying
Excellent understanding of BOQ and quantity take-off
Valuable knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Excel
Ability to read and interpret MEP drawings and specifications
Good understanding of contracts, variations, and billing
Strong analytical and numerical skills
Positive coordination and communication skills

Preferred Project Experience

Experience in industrial, commercial, infrastructure, data centre, manufacturing, or large-scale MEP projects will be preferred.
