Key Responsibilities

- Assist faculty members in teaching, academic delivery, tutorials, and classroom activities.
- Conduct and support legal research in contemporary and emerging areas of law.
- Assist in preparing lecture materials, presentations, case briefs, reading materials, assignments, and assessments.
- Support faculty members in conducting tutorials, discussions, academic activities, and student mentoring.
- Undertake case-law research, statutory research, literature reviews, and comparative legal research.
- Assist in preparation and publication of research papers, book chapters, conference papers, articles, and working papers.
- Support the School in organising seminars, conferences, moot court competitions, workshops, guest lectures, and other academic activities.
- Assist students with academic and research-related queries under the guidance of faculty members.
- Maintain academic records and assist with other teaching and research responsibilities assigned by the School.
- Contribute to the development of research projects, legal databases, policy briefs, and interdisciplinary initiatives.

Eligibility

Essential Qualification:

- LL.M. (Master of Laws) from a recognised university/institution is mandatory.
- LL.B.



degree from a recognised university/institution.
- Strong academic record and demonstrated interest in legal teaching and research.

Desirable Qualifications:

- UGC-NET/Ph.D. in Law or qualification as per applicable regulatory requirements.
- Prior experience in teaching, legal research, academic institutions, law firms, litigation, or research organisations.
- Publications in reputed law journals, conferences, edited volumes, or other recognised academic platforms.
- Knowledge of legal research databases such as SCC Online, Manupatra, Hein Online, Westlaw, Lexis Nexis, or equivalent platforms.

Skills Required
- Strong legal research and analytical skills.
- Good command of English language and legal writing.
- Ability to explain legal concepts clearly and effectively.
- Knowledge of Indian statutes, case law, and legal developments.
- Strong academic writing and presentation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with faculty and students.
- Proficiency in MS Office/Google Workspace and academic research tools.
- Commitment to academic integrity, professionalism, and continuous learning.
