Job Summary

The Delivery Manager – India Business will lead end-to-end recruitment delivery for requirements generated by business development and existing client accounts. The role is accountable for building a high-performing delivery team, translating client demand into practical hiring strategies, improving speed and quality of fulfilment, and delivering a consistently strong stakeholder experience. The successful candidate will combine hands-on knowledge of the India staffing market with disciplined operational management, data-led decision-making, and strong client partnership skills.

Key Responsibilities

- Delivery leadership: Own recruitment delivery across assigned India business accounts and ensure fulfilment against agreed priorities, timelines, quality standards, and service levels.
- Team management: Lead, coach, and develop recruiters and team leads; set explicit goals, allocate workloads, review performance, and build succession capability.
- Recruitment strategy: Convert client requirements and workforce plans into sourcing, screening, assessment, and closure strategies suited to the India talent market.
- Client partnership: Build trusted relationships with client stakeholders and hiring managers, clarify requirements, manage expectations, and provide timely delivery updates and market insights.
- Pipeline governance: Review requisition health, ageing, funnel conversion, recruiter productivity, offer status, joining risk, and fulfilment forecasts through regular operating reviews.
- Quality and compliance: Maintain consistent screening, documentation, candidate communication, data privacy,



and statutory or client-specific compliance standards throughout the hiring lifecycle.
- Stakeholder collaboration: Partner with business development, account management, sourcing, operations, HR, and finance teams to align capacity, priorities, commercials, and delivery commitments.
- Process improvement: Identify bottlenecks, standardize effective practices, improve turnaround time, and use automation and recruitment technology to strengthen efficiency and candidate experience.
- Escalation management: Anticipate delivery risks, resolve account or candidate issues promptly, and implement corrective actions to protect client relationships and business outcomes.
- Market intelligence: Track talent availability, compensation trends, competitor hiring, location dynamics, and emerging skill demand across India, and convert insights into actionable recommendations.
- Resource and budget management: Plan team capacity, manage delivery resources responsibly, and support profitability through efficient deployment and vendor usage.

Required Qualifications and Experience





- 10+ years of experience in the India domestic staffing industry, with at least 3 years in a Delivery Lead, Delivery Manager, or comparable people-management role.
- Demonstrated success managing full-cycle recruitment delivery for multiple clients, accounts, business units, or high-volume hiring programs.
- Strong understanding of India hiring practices, talent markets, sourcing channels, compensation dynamics, and applicable recruitment compliance requirements.
- Proven ability to lead recruiter teams, manage performance, coach for capability, and create accountability for outcomes.
- Strong client-facing communication, stakeholder management, negotiation, and expectation-setting skills.
- Hands-on experience with applicant tracking systems, job portals, sourcing platforms, recruitment analytics, and productivity tools.
- Ability to interpret recruitment data, identify root causes, and translate insights into practical actions.
- Sound commercial awareness, operational judgment, problem-solving ability, and a strong orientation toward targets and deadlines.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, or a related discipline.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience delivering IT, professional, or specialist staffing mandates in the Indian market.
- Exposure to managed services, recruitment process outsourcing, or large enterprise staffing programs.
- Experience managing distributed teams, multi-location delivery, or rapid scale-up assignments.
- Relevant postgraduate qualification or certification in human resources, recruitment, or project management.
