The role involves working across flight control, communication systems, autonomy, and ground control software,



with a robust focus on real-world reliability and scalability.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain UAV software modules for flight control integration (PX4 / ArduPilot)Mission planning and executionTelemetry and communication systemsBuild and optimize multi-UAV coordination and swarm logicWork on MAVLink-based communication and data pipelinesDevelop ground control station (GCS) features and interfacesIntegrate sensors (GPS, IMU, cameras, LiDAR, etc.)Implement autonomy features (path planning, obstacle avoidance, fail-safes)Collaborate with hardware and embedded teams for system integrationConduct field testing, debugging, and performance tuningEnsure robustness for real-world deploymentRequired SkillsStrong programming skills in C++ and PythonExperience with UAV stacks like PX4 or ArduPilotUnderstanding of MAVLink protocolFamiliarity with Linux-based developmentKnowledge of ROS/ROS2Experience with simulation tools (Gazebo, SITL, AirSim) and GCSExperience with communication sytems (UDP/TCP, serial interface, long range telemetry)Experience in multi-UAV systems / swarm coordinationExposure to AI/ML for autonomyUnderstanding of control systemsWhat We’re Looking ForStrong problem-solving mindsetAbility to work in fast-paced environmentsInterest in real-world deploymentOwnership of modules from development to field testing
