Senior Technical Lead / Founding Product Engineer – AI Platform Engagement: Part-Time, Long-Term Contract Hours: Approximately 20–25 hours/week Location: Remote Contract Duration: Initial 6 months, with potential for long-term continuation Compensation: Negotiable based on experience and technical capability About the Project We are developing a new AI-powered skilled and talent technology platform focused on the Caribbean and international professional market . The platform will combine professional profiles, document and credential management, AI-powered career development, talent matching, recruitment technology, and an advanced AI interview preparation system. The project is currently in the product architecture and MVP development stage . Due to the confidential nature of the project, additional business and product details will be shared with the selected candidate after completion of the appropriate NDA and engagement process. About the Role We are looking for an experienced Senior Technical Lead / Founding Product Engineer who can independently take ownership of the technical development of the initial platform. This is a hands-on role . We are looking for someone who can both architect and build rather than someone who only manages developers. You will initially work part-time with the potential to become a long-term technical lead as the platform grows. The ideal candidate should be comfortable taking a product from: Concept Architecture MVP Production Key Responsibilities Product & Technical Architecture Design scalable SaaS architecture. Translate product requirements into technical architecture. Design database and API architecture. Establish development standards and technical roadmap. Select appropriate technologies and third-party services. Design the platform for future scalability and additional developers. Full-Stack Development Build the initial MVP across: Frontend Backend Database APIs Authentication User management Admin functionality Cloud infrastructure Analytics Security AI Development Build and integrate AI-powered capabilities including: AI profile analysis CV analysis and optimization Job-description analysis Candidate/job matching Skills-gap analysis Career recommendations AI career assistant AI content generation AI interview preparation AI interview evaluation AI-powered recommendations Experience integrating LLM APIs such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini or equivalent is strongly preferred. AI Interview System A major component of the project will be an AI-powered virtual interview system . The system should eventually allow a user to: Provide a job-posting URL or job description. Analyze the job requirements. Compare the job against the candidate's professional profile. Generate personalized interview questions. Conduct an interactive AI interview.



Ask dynamic follow-up questions. Conduct technical, behavioral and situational interviews. Support audio and video interviews. Analyze interview responses. Provide improvement recommendations. Recommend CV/profile improvements for the specific position. Track performance across multiple practice interviews. Experience with voice AI, speech-to-text, video processing and computer vision is highly desirable. Computer Vision / Audio AI The platform is expected to use appropriate AI technologies to provide feedback on observable interview presentation factors such as: Eye/camera engagement Posture Visible distractions Presentation Speaking pace Pauses Filler words Answer structure Clarity Conciseness Communication patterns The candidate will not necessarily need to develop computer-vision models from scratch. Experience integrating specialized AI/vision APIs is acceptable. Third-Party Integrations You will evaluate and integrate appropriate services for: AI/LLM OCR/document intelligence Identity verification Credential verification Speech-to-text Voice AI Video Computer vision Authentication Email SMS/WhatsApp Payments Cloud storage Analytics Monitoring Search The platform should use a modular integration architecture so that third-party providers can be replaced without rebuilding the core system. Initial MVP Scope The first version is expected to include capabilities around: Professional user profiles CV/profile management Document/credential management Verification foundations AI profile analysis AI CV improvement Job-post analysis Candidate/job matching Skills-gap analysis AI career assistance AI interview preparation AI virtual interviewing Audio/video interview capabilities Interview scoring and recommendations Admin and analytics The broader product roadmap will be disclosed to the selected candidate following NDA execution. Important Confidentiality Requirement Because this is a new and commercially sensitive product, the successful candidate will be required to sign an NDA and appropriate intellectual-property/confidentiality agreements before receiving detailed product specifications, business strategy, proprietary workflows, data models and other confidential information. All project source code, architecture, documentation, intellectual property and related deliverables will be owned by the client/project entity in accordance with the final contractual agreement. Engagement Structure Part-Time: 20–25 hours per week Initial term: 6 months Potential: Long-term / expanded engagement based on performance and project requirements. The role can be performed remotely. The candidate should be available for regular communication with the product owner and be capable of managing their own development priorities.
