The consultant will work closely with business teams to analyse requirements, design functional solutions, and support end-to-end processes within SAP ECC/S/4HANA.Key ResponsibilitiesAnalyse and document requirements for Article Master creation, extension, updates, and mass maintenance.Support onboarding, enrichment, and lifecycle management of Vendors and Business Partners, including validations and duplicate checks.Configure and validate procurement master data relevant to Article Master processes:Purchase Info Records (ME11/ME12)Source Lists (ME05/ME07)Bills of Material (CS01/CS02) for applicable article types (perishables, prepacks, beverages, variants, etc.)Support article-related processes including:Prepacks, variant characteristics, service packs, beverages with depositsArticle relationships, hierarchy, listings/de-listings, assortmentsDefine data validation rules, process flows, and approval requirements with cross-functional teams.Contribute to designing mass upload templates, data checks,



and data quality frameworks.Participate in SIT/UAT, prepare functional documentation and test scripts, and support business users during rollout.Prepare and maintain functional specifications, configuration documentation, and SOPs.Required Skills5–7 years of experience in one or more of the following functional areas:SAP IS RetailSAP S/4HANA Fashion/RetailSAP MM (Materials Management)Strong hands-on experience in Article Master processes including:Article types, attributes, characteristics, variants, brand managementArticle hierarchy and assortment/listing processesSourcing parameters: case packs, dimensions, pallet patterns, sourcing locationsProven experience with procurement master data linked to Article Master: PIRs, Source Lists, Info Records, BOMs.Strong analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills.Must SkillsExcellent communication skills (written & verbal).Strong stakeholder management; able to lead requirement workshops independently.Self-driven, proactive, and accountable for end-to-end deliverables.Detail-oriented, structured, and highly organized working style.Ability to collaborate effectively with technical, QA, integration, and business teams.Quick learner with adaptability to evolving project needs.
