The mandate is to provideend-to-end oversight of the Provident Fund function across India,with a focus on strengthening compliance, streamlining processes,and bringing consistency across multiple locations and entities. Akey objective of this engagement will be to review and resolvepending PF matters and establish efficient processes to ensureemployee claims and transfers are processed smoothly and withinstatutory timelines. This role is suited for a professional whocombines deep expertise in PF regulations with the ability todiagnose gaps, simplify processes, and implement sustainableimprovements across the organization’s PF operations. KeyResponsibilities Conduct a comprehensive review of existing PFprocesses, compliance practices, and documentation across multiplelocations. Ensure adherence to all applicable EPF regulations,statutory requirements, and reporting standards. Review and resolvepending PF matters, including open claims, transfer requests, andreconciliation issues. Establish processes to ensure employeeclaims, withdrawals, and transfers are processed accurately andwithin statutory timelines without unnecessary delays. Identifygaps, risks,



and inefficiencies in current PF operations andrecommend corrective actions. Standardize and streamline PFprocesses across locations to ensure consistency and efficiency.Work closely with internal teams (HR, payroll, finance) tostrengthen process ownership, documentation, and accountability.Support the organization in handling PF audits, inspections, andregulatory queries, where applicable. Review and improve PF-relatedfilings, reconciliations, and compliance reporting. Provideguidance on complex PF cases, including transfers, withdrawals, andlegacy issues. Recommend process improvements, automationopportunities, and best practices for long-term sustainability.Enable internal teams through knowledge transfer and capabilitybuilding to ensure continuity after the engagement. IdealConsultant Profile Senior-level professional with extensiveexperience handling Provident Fund (PF) operations and statutorycompliance in India. Proven experience as a PF / statutorycompliance expert, with strong hands-on knowledge of EPFregulations. Demonstrated experience managing or advising on PFoperations across multiple locations or entities. Robust experienceof payroll integration, statutory compliance processes, and PFaudits. Ability to identify operational gaps and implementpractical, scalable improvements. Experience working in aconsulting or advisory capacity with organizations. Strongstakeholder management skills and ability to collaborateeffectively with cross-functional teams.
