Equity Research Analyst

## About the Role
As an Equity Research Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in developing proprietary investment theses and providing actionable investment recommendations. This position requires in-depth financial analysis, continuous market monitoring, and a solid focus on assessing downside risks to maximize risk-adjusted returns for our portfolio managers.

## Key Responsibilities

- Study company financial statements, earnings reports, and industry trends to build proprietary investment theses.
- Create detailed Excel models to forecast future earnings, project cash flows, and value target securities.
- Provide private buy, sell, or hold recommendations directly to portfolio managers, rather than publishing public reports.
- Track existing investments daily, update financial models after earnings releases,



and re-evaluate strategies when market conditions shift.
- Focus heavily on what can go wrong with an investment, assessing downside risks and helping size portfolio positions to maximize risk-adjusted returns.
- Maintain continuous coverage of industry-related news, trends, and developments, sharing relevant insights with clients and Partners.
- Conduct primary research through industry sources and market interactions.

## Requirements

- MBA / CA / CFA qualification.
- Relevant equity research experience.
