Job Description

Rapidtek Technologies is looking for an experienced Lead Instrumentation / Control Systems Engineer to lead the detailed engineering activities for a major international Oil & Gas ICSS project.

The Lead Engineer will provide technical leadership to the Rapidtek engineering team and act as the primary engineering coordinator with the client's engineering team.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead ICSS detailed engineering covering DCS, SIS/ESD, F&G;, MCMS and package control systems.
- Coordinate and supervise Senior and Instrument Design Engineers.
- Plan and allocate engineering activities to meet project deliverable schedules.
- Review/approve:
- I/O Point Databases
- Control Narratives
- Complex loop narratives
- DCS logic narratives
- ESD/F&G; Cause & Effect mark-ups
- ICSS/MCMS vendor documents
- Package-system interfaces
- Ensure two-level checking and engineering quality control before document issue.
- Resolve technical queries and coordinate with Process, Package, Electrical and other disciplines.




- Interface with client/EPC engineers and control-system vendors.
- Consolidate vendor comments and drive technical comment closure.
- Track deliverables, revisions, inputs, HOLD points and engineering progress.
- Provide technical guidance to the engineering team and fill engineering gaps where required.
- Participate in project review meetings and technical discussions.
- Support/lead Pre-FAT and FAT when required.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, client engineering practices and applicable Oil & Gas standards.

Required Skills & Experience:

- B.E./B.Tech in Instrumentation / Electronics / Control Engineering.
- Preferably 12–15+ years of Instrumentation & Control engineering experience.
- Significant Oil & Gas / Refinery / Petrochemical EPC detailed-engineering experience.
- Robust expertise in ICSS, DCS, SIS/ESD and F&G; engineering.
- Excellent knowledge of P&IDs;, Cause & Effect, Control Philosophy, SRS, I/O databases and Control Narratives.
- Strong vendor-document review and multidisciplinary coordination experience.
- Previous experience as Lead Engineer / Senior Control Systems Engineer on major EPC projects
- Experience with international Oil & Gas clients engineering practices is desirable.
- Strong leadership, coordination and technical communication skills.
- Candidate should be willing to work at Vadodara for project coordination and travel for FAT as required.

Pay: ₹100,000.00 - ₹120,000.00 per month
