Draftsman

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Draftsman to join our team. The role involves preparing accurate architectural drawings, working on Government and Commercial projects, coordinating with architects, consultants, and project teams, and supporting project execution from design development through construction.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare detailed architectural drawings, working drawings, layouts, sections, elevations, and construction drawings.

Develop and modify drawings based on architectural designs, site conditions, and project requirements.

Prepare drawings, BOQs/BOPs, schedules, and other project documentation as required.

Coordinate with architects, engineers, consultants, contractors, and other project stakeholders.

Incorporate design changes, revisions, and technical inputs into drawings.

Ensure drawings are accurate, explicit, and compliant with project standards and applicable building regulations.

Assist in preparing drawings for Government and Commercial project submissions and approvals.

Review drawings and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to identify and resolve discrepancies.

Maintain proper documentation and revision control of project drawings.

Attend site visits as required to verify site conditions and update drawings accordingly.





Support the architectural team during project execution and construction stages.

Ensure timely completion of assigned drawings and project deliverables.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field.

Relevant experience as an Architectural Draftsman / CAD Draftsman.

Experience working on Government and Commercial projects will be preferred.

Strong knowledge of architectural drawings, construction details, and building practices.

Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential.

Knowledge of Revit, SketchUp, or other architectural software will be an added advantage.

Ability to read and understand architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.

Good knowledge of drawing standards, detailing, and documentation.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Good communication and coordination skills.

Ability to work independently as well as within a multidisciplinary team.

Ability to manage multiple drawings and project deadlines effectively.
