As per Company Requirement
Operate and monitor CNC Plasma Cutting Machine for PEB fabrication work.
- Read and understand fabrication drawings, cutting layouts, and nesting plans.
- Set machine parameters such as cutting speed, amperage, gas pressure, and torch height as required.
- Load and position MS plates/sheets properly on the cutting table.
- Execute accurate cutting of plates, stiffeners, gussets, base plates, connection plates, etc.
- Check dimensions and cutting accuracy as per drawings and production requirements.
- Identify and rectify basic machine/cutting issues such as improper cutting, slag, excessive bevel, and torch-height problems.
- Perform routine machine cleaning, inspection, and basic maintenance.
- Maintain proper identification and traceability of cut components.
- Minimize material wastage through proper nesting and plate utilization.
- Coordinate with the Production, Quality, and Welding/Fabrication teams.
- Follow production schedules and achieve daily production targets.
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures and PPE requirements.
- Maintain housekeeping around the machine and work area.
- Record production, material consumption, and machine-related information as required.
