Data Architect III develops and leads enterprise data strategies and governance initiatives, architects and tests new database systems, and oversees complex data integration projects, ensuring adherence to data standards and strategic alignment.

Education Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, and/or comparable experience; advanced degree preferred
- Knowledge of developing data architecture for applications utilizing various database management systems (e.g., IMS, DB2 zOS, Oracle, MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Netezza, Hadoop, MapR)
- Knowledge of both online transaction processing and online analytical processing systems
- Knowledge of data modeling tools (e.g., ErStudio, ErWin)
- Knowledge of distributed (multi-tiered) systems and algorithms
- Knowledge of NOSQL design and flexible schema definitions with a variety of products (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra, HBase)
Knowledge of infrastructure technologies and components (e.g., servers, Java virtual machines, networking concepts)

- Work Experience:

- Experience in data architecture, data modeling, database development, and/or comparable experience
- Experience in data integration tools and extract, transform, and load processes (e.g., extract, transform, and load tools like Informatica, Talend, or SSIS)
- Experience in database technologies such as SQL, NoSQL, and data warehousing solutions
- Experience in data security protocols and compliance standards
- Experience in documenting data processes and workflows
- Experience in data modeling and database design principles
- Experience in metadata management and database management concepts
