Be the person who makes sure our products actually work for the people who use them.

Daemon Ventures is a US technology company that builds and runs internet businesses with a very small team and heavy use of AI. We are hiring a full-time QA tester to see our products through our customers' eyes. You will use our live products the way a real customer would, every day, and make sure that nothing broken, confusing or inconsistent goes unnoticed.

What you'll do

- Every day, go through our live products as a new customer would: sign up with a real email address, check that the emails arrive, use the core features, pay, cancel and ask for help. Do this on your phone and on a computer.

- Test new products and significant changes before and after they go live.

- Report what you find clearly:

- the steps to reproduce it

- what you expected

- what actually happened

- a screenshot or screen recording

- how much it matters to a customer

- Re-test every fix, and mark it done only when it really works.

- Notice what nobody asked you to check: a price that doesn't match, an email that lands in spam, a page that's confusing on a small screen.

- Suggest what should be checked automatically, so the same problem is caught immediately next time.

Who you are

- Meticulous and persistent. You finish every flow end to end, including the steps after the first screen.

- A clear writer in English.



Anyone can reproduce your report without asking you a question.

- Reliable. You keep a daily rhythm without being chased, and you report the real state, including "I couldn't finish this, and here's why."

- Good judgment about what matters. You can tell a bug that loses customers from a cosmetic one.

- Comfortable working remotely, independently and alongside AI. Much of our building and operations is automated, and your reports go straight into that work.

Details

- Full time and remote, within India. You would be engaged as an independent contractor, paid monthly.

- Experience: 1–3 years of manual testing of web or mobile products.

- Helpful: browser developer tools, mobile testing and a bug tracker.

- Pluses, not requirements: API testing (e.g. Postman), basic SQL, or some exposure to test automation.

- Pay: ₹6–9 LPA, based on experience.

- Process:

1. A short application that includes a practical test (about 30–45 minutes).

2. A conversation or two.

3. A first month working together on the real work.
