Job Description

- Oversee the overall engineering and maintenance operations of the hotel.

- Ensure the smooth functioning of all electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, and utility systems.

- Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance schedules.

- Monitor energy consumption and implement cost-saving and sustainability initiatives.

- Supervise, train, and guide the engineering team to ensure effective performance.

- Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, fire safety standards, and engineering policies.

- Maintain the hotel's infrastructure, guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities.

- Respond promptly to engineering-related guest complaints and maintenance requests.

- Prepare and manage the departmental budget, ensuring effective cost control.

- Coordinate with vendors and contractors for repairs, servicing, and maintenance activities.





- Oversee renovation projects, equipment installations, and engineering upgrades.

- Maintain inventory of engineering tools, spare parts, and maintenance materials.

- Monitor utility consumption, equipment performance, and maintenance expenses.

- Handle emergencies, equipment breakdowns, and utility failures to ensure uninterrupted operations.

- Coordinate with other departments to address maintenance requirements.

- Maintain engineering records, inspection reports, and compliance documentation.

- Implement energy conservation, waste reduction, and environmentally sustainable practices.

- Ensure adherence to hotel brand standards and operational quality requirements.
