Key Responsibilities

- Develop, implement, and regularly review a play‑based, outcome‑focused pre‑primary curriculum aligned with national early‑childhood education standards.
- Lead, mentor, and evaluate a team of pre‑primary teachers and support staff, fostering continuous professional growth.
- Schedule and coordinate daily classroom activities, ensuring a balanced mix of structured learning, free play, and outdoor exploration.
- Monitor student progress through observation, assessments, and portfolio reviews; provide timely feedback to parents and staff.
- Maintain a safe, child‑friendly environment by enforcing health, hygiene, and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with the school’s senior leadership to set strategic goals for the pre‑primary section and report on key performance indicators.
- Organize parent‑teacher meetings, workshops, and community events that promote family engagement.
- Manage budgeting, resource allocation, and procurement of age‑appropriate learning materials.




- Stay updated with the latest early‑childhood education research and incorporate creative teaching methodologies.

Essential Qualifications

- Master’s degree or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Pre‑Primary Education, or a related field.
- Certification in early childhood pedagogy (e.g., NCTE, NCTE‑Approved, or equivalent).
- Strong knowledge of child development stages and age‑appropriate instructional strategies.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in using digital tools for curriculum planning, assessment, and parent communication.

Desired Experience

- Minimum 4 years of teaching experience in a pre‑primary setting.
- At least 2 years of supervisory or coordination experience within an early childhood department.
