Job Title: Freelance – Educational Framework Reviewer

Role Purpose:

We are seeking an experienced education expert to independently review and provide expert feedback on a proposed educational framework for Islamic Education and character development in the UAE secondary/high-school context.

Key Responsibilities:

- Review the framework's theoretical foundations, including Islamic Educational Philosophy, Social Cognitive Theory, and Competency-Based Education.
- Assess the alignment between theory, teacher-development components, classroom practices, and student outcomes.
- Evaluate the relevance of the proposed teacher-training components for Islamic Education teachers.
- Review the progression from teacher modelling to guided practice and independent student application.
- Assess the suitability of proposed student evidence and assessment approaches for character and competency development.
- Identify conceptual, methodological, structural, and practical gaps.
- Provide clear, evidence-based recommendations to improve the framework's content, structure, terminology, and implementation.
- Assess the framework's relevance and applicability to the UAE secondary/high-school Islamic Education context.
- Review revised versions and confirm whether previous recommendations have been adequately addressed.

Minimum Qualifications:

- PhD/EdD in Education, Islamic Education, Curriculum & Instruction, Teacher Education,



Educational Psychology, Character/Moral Education, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant professional and/or research experience.
- Demonstrated experience in educational research, curriculum/framework development, teacher training, assessment, or programme evaluation.
- Solid knowledge of educational theory and framework development.

Desirable Expertise:

- Islamic Education / Islamic Educational Philosophy.
- Teacher education and professional development.
- Competency-Based Education.
- Character, moral, values, or ethical education.
- Social Cognitive Theory and educational psychology.
- Educational assessment and competency development.
- UAE education context and/or Islamic Education in UAE schools.

Expected Deliverables:

- Expert review of the proposed framework.
- Detailed comments and recommendations for improvement.
- Review/validation of revised framework versions.
- Final expert feedback highlighting key strengths, gaps, and recommendations.
