About the Role

B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering (essential); M.E. / M.Tech in Structural Engineering preferred.

We are looking for a Structural Engineer to independently verify structural designs and drawings for government projects — water and infrastructure works, public buildings and high-rise buildings. You will review the work of external design consultants and report your findings independently, protecting the interests of the appointing authority.

This is a client-facing role. You will present technical findings to design consultants, government officials, PMCs and auditors. If you can communicate and present exceptionally well, we will train you on the rest.

What We Are Looking For

- Communication and presentation — 10/10. Non-negotiable. You must be able to explain technical points clearly, confidently and professionally to senior stakeholders.

- Core engineering skill — 6/10 is acceptable. We will mentor you on proof-checking methodology, codes and departmental processes.

- Freshers with outstanding communication skills are strongly encouraged to apply. Experience is a bonus, not a requirement.

Key Responsibilities

- Review design basis reports, loading assumptions and load combinations against tender specifications and applicable codes.





- Independently verify structural analysis and design — critical members, stability, strength and serviceability checks.

- Proof check drawings for completeness, consistency with calculations, and code-compliant detailing (IS 456, SP 34, IS 13920, IS 800, IS 3370).

- Ensure compliance with IS codes, NBC and departmental specifications (CPWD / PWD / MJP / MORTH / IRC as applicable).

- Raise structured comments, track them to closure with the design consultant, and issue proof-check certificates.

- Maintain a complete, traceable audit trail of all checks, comments and resolutions.

- Present findings and coordinate technical discussions with departments, PMCs and consultants.

Qualifications

- B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering (essential); M.E. / M.Tech in Structural Engineering preferred.

- Working knowledge of IS codes, STAAD.Pro / ETABS, AutoCAD and MS Office.

- Chartered Engineer or licensed Structural Engineer registration — advantageous.
