8th Element is an AI-first services company focused on turning AI into measurable business outcomes.A significant part of our work is in healthcare, across areas such as prior authorization, payment integrity, clinical intelligence and complex operational workflows.
We're looking for a Product Manager / Business Analyst who can own a client problem from discovery through delivery.This means understanding what the client is trying to achieve, figuring out what should be built, working with engineers to shape the solution, and staying close to the outcome.

What you'll do:

- Work directly with clients to understand their business, workflows and problems.
- Own the product/problem definition for client engagements.
- Identify where AI or software can materially improve the process.
- Challenge assumptions and help clients clarify what they actually need.
- Shape AI-enabled products, workflows and agents with engineering.
- Define scope, priorities, success criteria and acceptance criteria.
- Keep business, product and engineering aligned throughout delivery.
- Evaluate prototypes and early system behaviour with clients and users.
- Make trade-offs around scope, quality, time and feasibility.
- Identify risks, dependencies and gaps before they become delivery problems.
- Stay involved through implementation and production.




- Help determine whether the solution delivered the intended business outcome.
- Turn what we learn from projects into reusable product and delivery patterns.

What we're looking for:
Your background could be in:
Product · Business Analysis · Consulting · Technology · Solution Design · Healthcare · Operations

You should be comfortable:

- Learning an unfamiliar business quickly.
- Structuring complex problems.
- Working directly with senior client stakeholders.
- Translating between business and engineering teams.
- Making decisions with incomplete information.
- Getting into enough technical detail to make positive product decisions.
- Challenging a requirement when it doesn't solve the underlying problem.
- Keeping a team moving when there isn't a perfect answer.

You don't need to be an AI expert, but you should be curious enough to understand what AI can and cannot do.

How we work:

We're a small team.You won't sit between the client and an army of delivery teams. You'll work directly with clients, founders, engineers and domain experts.You will have significant responsibility for the success of the engagement.The role is not project coordination or requirements documentation.
You own the problem and help drive the solution.
